Safety / EWP Services in Brisbane
Brush Masters Brisbane are professional high access cleaning, painting and maintenance services for commercial, industrial and public properties across Brisbane. If work is to be carried out at height, safety must be paramount from the planning stage to the end of the project. When used correctly, selected, operated and maintained, Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) offer an efficient way to access hard-to-reach areas and promote safer working practices. Safe Work Australia defines EWPs as mobile platforms used to lift and lower persons and equipment, and notes that there are various types of EWPs appropriate to various work environments.
OUR SERVICES
Safe High-Access Solutions for Brisbane Properties
In projects where traditional access may be impractical or ineffective, our EWP access services offer practical solutions. Professional EWP operators can access high-level facades, roofs, signage and other hard-to-reach areas, and can help to minimise disruption to surrounding property.
Operators who are experienced are aware of the significance of site conditions, equipment selection and controlled access. Commercial buildings, warehouses, retail premises, educational facilities, industrial sites, hospitality venues and other properties that require professional high access work can benefit from our services.

What Is an Elevated Work Platform?
An Elevated Work Platform is a type of mobile plant that raises workers and equipment to an elevated working position. Common equipment used includes boom lifts, scissor lifts and cherry pickers, depending on the height, reach, ground conditions and the type of work.
The EWP access services are especially helpful for high access cleaning, painting, facade maintenance, roof work and signage. An EWP, when properly designed, can offer flexible access and can help to minimise the time and disruption needed to set up larger temporary structures, compared to extensive scaffolding.
The Importance of Safety When Working at Heights
High access work can present hazards such as falls, falling objects, unstable ground, collisions, overhead hazards and interaction with vehicles or pedestrians. Safe Work Australia advises that these hazards be identified and controlled prior to work commencing. A Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is required for high-risk construction work where a fall is greater than 2 metres.
A professional approach involves hazard identification, site-specific risk assessment, suitable exclusion zones and suitable control measures. These measures are taken to safeguard workers, building occupants, visitors and the public.

Our Safety-First Approach
At Brush Masters Brisbane, safety is at the heart of all high access projects. Our approach includes trained operators, site-specific planning, comprehensive risk assessments, equipment inspections and appropriate maintenance. Safe Work Australia suggests that operators ensure that equipment is used with the necessary training and licences and that it is inspected regularly.
We also have fully insured services and comply with relevant Australian safety standards to ensure that projects are completed safely and professionally.

Benefits of Choosing EWP Access Services
Professional high-access equipment can provide several practical advantages.
